Faith Formation News & Information

• First Penance & First Eucharist Classes offered May 19, 2013

  Our Lady of Peace and St. Cecilia Faith Formation Program will be offering a First Penance and First Eucharist Sacramental class for children ages 8 thru 13 who have NOT received these sacraments.

  These classes will give your child the opportunity to receive their sacraments and be placed in the appropriate Faith Formation level in the fall.

  Classes will be held at St. Cecilia Parish Center

  Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:15 am

  Mass will follow at 10:30 am with their families. Mass attendance is required as part of the program.

  Sunday ? June 9

  Students must be registered by

  Tuesday ? May 28

  A registration form is on Page 6 of the Pentecost Sunday bulletin (you may download & print the bulletin which is available online)

• Confirmation Workshop February 3, 2013

  Padre Amedeo Guida and Confirmation Teams I & II will present a Workshop entitled “Why Go to Mass and Reconciliation?” for Confirmation I & II candidates at Our Lady of Peace Church
  Saturday, February 9 from 12:30 – 5:00 PM
  CONFIRMATION! RETREAT
  A retreat for Confirmation I candidates will be held at the Alibrandi Catholic Center, 110 Walnut P1, Syracuse on Saturday, March 2 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Faith Formation Classes October 15, 2012

  Faith Formation classes at Our Lady of Peace will be held every Sunday in Nazareth Hall beginning Sunday • October 28
  Grades K – Confirmation I meet 9:30 – 10:45 AM

  Faith Formation classes at St. Cecilia will be held every Sunday in the Parish Center beginning Sunday • October 28
  Grades 1 – 5 meet 9:20 – 10:20 AM
  Grades 6 – Confirmation II meet 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

• First Eucharist Parent Meeting February 23, 2012

  There will be a meeting of the parents of the First Eucharist class in the Pastor’s Room of Nazareth Hall Sunday, March 4 at 10:00 – 11:15AM

• Class Schedules February 23, 2012

  It’s Winter Break time! There are no Faith Formation classes this Sunday, February 26. Classes resume Sunday, March 4.
