Faith Formation News & Information

• Fall Faith Formation Registration April 17, 2012

  Registration for Fall Faith Formation classes will be held in Nazareth Hall following 9:00 am Mass.

  New Registrants: Any new registrant who was not baptized at Our Lady of Peace is required to provide a copy of their Baptism Certificate.

  Any parishioner who has a student who has not attended Faith Formation and needs to receive the sacrament of First Penance and/or First Eucharist, or needs to begin the two year Confirmation Preparation Program, please contact Mrs. Lucio in the Parish Office by June 1.

  Jr. CYO meets Sun, 3/18

  The Jr. CYO will meet in Nazareth Hall this Sunday ~ March 18 ~ 11:15 am

  Workshop Cancelled

  The First Eucharist Bread and Banner Workshop scheduled for Sunday, March 25 has been cancelled.

  Jr. CYO Fundraiser

  The Jr. CYO would like to purchase items for the older children at the House of the Good Shepherd in Utica, so they are having a FUNdRAISER in conjunction with five BELOW. Helping with their FUNdRAISER is easy as 1-2-3. 1. Take the flyer found in today’s bulletin. 2. Shop at the five BELOW store next to Bed Bath and Beyond in the Fairmount Fair Shopping Center

  3. Present the flyer when you check out, and 10% of your total purchases will be donated back to the Jr. CYO. Flyers will also be given to the Faith Formation students, and extra flyers are available at the church entrances.   Pancake Breakfast

  Our Lady of Peace Junior CYO is sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast in Nazareth Hall

  Sunday ~ March 25 ~ 10:00 am – 12:00 noon

  Tickets are only $5 each, and children under 5 are free. $1.00 of each sale will be donated to the Our Lady of Peace Food Pantry.

   

• First Eucharist Parent Meeting February 23, 2012

  There will be a meeting of the parents of the First Eucharist class in the Pastor’s Room of Nazareth Hall Sunday, March 4 at 10:00 – 11:15AM

• Class Schedules February 23, 2012

  It’s Winter Break time! There are no Faith Formation classes this Sunday, February 26. Classes resume Sunday, March 4.

• Jr. CYO February 19, 2012

  The Jr. CYO (Grades 6-8) will meet in Nazareth Hall Sunday, February 19 at 11:15AM. It is never too late to get involved. We encourage students and parents to join.
