The Star of Bethlehem

This is a link to a Youtube playlist that is a 5 part video entitled The Star of Bethlehem.

The Star of Bethlehem Playlist on Youtube

If you've ever wondered about the Magi and the Star - were they real or merely a nice fiction - watch this. I believe you will find the information presented in the video amazing.

A caveat - this is in no way connected to a teaching of the Church - it is one man's research and his conclusion from that research.

"The acts of charity that you neglect to perform are so many injustices that you committ."

RCIA

RCIA- How Do I Become Catholic?

RCIA or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is offered to anyone interested in becoming part of the Catholic Community.  This Faith Formation program is offered to individuals that have been baptized, but have not received First Communion, Reconciliation, or Confirmation.  Also, RCIA is for individuals that have not received any sacraments and would like to learn about the faith and prepare for initiation into the church.  Our classes begin in the fall and individuals receive the sacraments at the Easter Vigil. Instruction is given in group settings or private instruction can be arranged if candidates cannot attend the RCIA group. There is an RCIA team that leads discussion and shares their faith stories.

This is a wonderful process that embraces all that the Catholic Church teaches.  Time is dedicated to study, discussion, prayer, conversion and the development of the basic skills for living as a disciple of Christ in the Catholic Christian Community.

If you feel that Christ may be inviting you to take a closer look at the Catholic-Christian way of life, or to obtain further information about the RCIA process, please contact Dru Pellizzari at 487-6832(Our Lady of Peace) or email at dapolp@gmail.com
